Summary

I made a exhaust system for the garage. Since I build everything I can I decided on building my own blast gates to control air flow around the shop. Any 8" ductwork will slip right over the top. the two strips need to be rolled. The dxf is setup for 16ga. if you change thickness you have to change the stretch out of the strips to accommodate the change. I used a piece of rubber roofing to make a gasket that acts as a spacer so the door will slide. Remember to take out the bend lines in the door before you cut ,I left them in for reference.

    looks nice can you include a picture(s) of the installed unit I think I understand where you are going but not sure
