Summary
I made this remix to save a little of my 1/8" plate. The handle is still 1/8" but the scoop is 1/16" and it's strong enough with the sides folded as in the picture. The folds are a little short in the prototype so I increased their dimension in the drawing so that they won't go underneath the slats. It's a useful little tool - thanks for the idea and design Chuck
