Summary
Most signs I design these days i make them layered. In the backer you will see 2 holes which i weld threaded bolts to allow me to have things standoff. it also helps with painting. Hopefully this helps others get ideas and get away from normal 2D only designs. Let me know if you have questions. happy to help someone trying to do cool designs.
