Summary

These pieces build a 20 x 24" by 25" high knockdown fire pit. It requires 2 end pieces, 2 side pieces (pick 2 of ver 1 or ver 2) bent at 27 degrees at the bend lines, 1 bottom and at least 1 grill bent at 90 degrees at the two bend lines (for strength). Use 8 lynch pins 5/16", also called ring pins or latch ring clips to hold it together.

Would you please add a picture of it assembled?

James Mersereau (OP) - 9 months ago
I can't add to a post with pictures once it is up. You can see pictures of a similar design here... https://flic.kr/p/2qH1tZn and https://flic.kr/p/2qH8dkF . They added eight pin holes to the bottom panel and used more pins to secure it.

what material thickness did you use for this?

James Mersereau (OP) - 8 months ago
10 gauge (0.1345" / 3.416 mm) or thicker works best. The slots are sized 0.3035"
