NP241J Rear Output Flange Holding Wrench – 2005 Jeep TJ Rubicon Automotive
This tool is designed to hold the rear output flange on the NP241J (New-Process) transfer case while torqueing the flange nut on a 2005 Jeep TJ Rubicon. It prevents rotation of the output shaft so the flange nut can be tightened to high factory torque spec. Highlights - File drawn in MM - Designed to hold the rear output flange on the NP241J transfer case - Allows proper torqueing of the rear output flange nut without using an impact - Cut from 1/4" steel plate on a Langmuir Crossfire Pro (Hypertherm 45XP) - Double-bent (35 degrees) using the Titan press brake to clear the factory Rubicon locker air pumps - Length is tuned so the handle rests naturally against the frame rail for leverage - Holes included for attaching a small bungee cord so the wrench can hold itself in position - Eliminates the need for a second person - Prevents output shaft rotation and protects internal gears during torqueing
