MATERIAL PASS-THROUGH

Apollo 4 provides an innovative enclosure system that allows you to load and handle a 4' × 8' sheet of material giving you more flexibility when you need it. Material pass-through feature allows larger stock to extend through the enclosure (front and/or back), giving you more options without moving up to a larger machine.

It has a full featured interface that allows you to adjust every parameter, but it was built with simplicity and is intuitive to use. The Apollo 4 CNC Fiber Laser is a precision CNC-controlled sheet metal cutting system that uses a 1.5kW fiber laser to deliver fast, accurate cuts with minimal post-processing. Its compact 48" × 48" cutting area brings industrial-grade fiber laser capability to shops where floor space matters.

What software is used for the Apollo 4 CNC Fiber Laser?

The Apollo 4 CNC Fiber Laser uses our in-house engineered LaserControl software. LaserControl shares the familiar look and workflow of other Langmuir Systems software such as FireControl and CutControl, while providing the controls and parameters required specifically for fiber laser cutting.

What is the cutting area of the Apollo 4 CNC Fiber Laser?

The Apollo 4 CNC Fiber Laser features a full 48" × 48" cutting area. An integrated material pass-through, that can be positioned on the front or back of the machine, allows longer stock to extend through the enclosure, giving you additional flexibility when working with material larger than the machine’s cutting envelope.

Can Apollo 4 cut material longer than 48"?

Yes. Apollo 4 features material pass-through that can be positioned on the front or back of the machine that allows stock longer than 48" to extend through the enclosure. The machine’s active cutting area remains 48" × 48", so the pass-through provides greater flexibility for loading and positioning longer material without increasing the machine’s cutting envelope.

What is included when I purchase the Apollo 4 CNC Fiber Laser?

The Apollo 4 comes equipped with the 1.5kW fiber laser source, laser cutting head, water chiller and fully enclosed machine system. Additional accessories and upgrades are available depending on your configuration.

Oxygen, nitrogen, or suitable compressed shop air will also be required depending on the material and cutting process being used.

What safety features are available on the Apollo 4 CNC Fiber Laser?

Apollo 4 features an enclosed cutting area with removable access doors and integrated safety interlocks that prevent the laser from firing unless the enclosure is properly secured. The removable doors provide easy access for loading material, setup, maintenance, and part retrieval.

Optional laser-safe viewing glass provides visibility into the cutting area while the enclosure remains closed. Proper laser-rated PPE and all applicable safety procedures including wearing laser safety glasses should always be followed when operating the system.

I want an Apollo 4 CNC Fiber Laser but I don’t have any CNC laser cutting experience. Is it still a good choice for me?

Yes. Apollo 4 uses our intuitive LaserControl software and is supported by setup guides, tutorials, documentation, and our dedicated support team. Even if fiber laser cutting is new to you, these resources are designed to help you get familiar with the machine and cutting workflow quickly.

What is the maximum material thickness that I can cut on the Apollo 4 CNC Fiber Laser?

The Apollo 4 CNC Fiber Laser can cut carbon steel up to 1/2" thick, depending on material conditions, assist gas, cut parameters, and desired cut quality.

Can I cut other materials on the Apollo 4 CNC Fiber Laser?

Yes. The Apollo 4 CNC Fiber Laser can cut the following:

  1. Up to ½” Carbon Steel
  2. Up to 7/32” Stainless Steel
  3. Up to 5/32” Aluminum and Brass
Can I finance the purchase of Apollo 4?

Yes, we are partnered with Geneva Capital and Affirm for financing needs of our customers. While you will need to provide the $500 deposit via credit card to initially reserve a machine, financing for the balance can be established via Geneva Capital or Affirm right before your machine ships.

How does Apollo 4 ship and what does it cost?

The Apollo 4 CNC Fiber Laser ships via freight/LTL from our facility in Conroe, Texas. Shipping cost varies based on your location. Customers will need to supply a forklift capable of lifting 1000lb and has extended forks (6ft minimum length forks).

Can I pick up my Apollo 4 in-person to avoid shipping costs?

Yes, local pickup orders from our facility in Conroe, Texas can be scheduled to avoid shipping fees. A suitable vehicle with at least 84” of bed width is required to safely transport Apollo. The loading of the machine will be completed by Langmuir Personnel with our equipment. All strapping and securing equipment shall be provided by you, the customer, with no exception. You must make an appointment for pickup by sending an email to [email protected] once your machine is prepared and your balance is paid.

Is lift gate service available upon delivery?

Yes. The Apollo 4 CNC Fiber Laser ships via freight, liftgate service is generally available from ABF, our freight partner.

Do you ship Apollo 4 Internationally?

No. The Apollo 4 CNC Fiber Laser ships to the lower 48 states only. Please contact a freight broker for international shipments.

Are accessories and options more affordable if purchased at the same time as Apollo 4?

We recommend ordering your desired Apollo 4 accessories and upgrades with the machine whenever possible. Combining accessories with the initial machine shipment can reduce additional freight costs and ensures your preferred configuration is ready from the start.

How long does it take to assemble Apollo 4?

Apollo comes as a kit and requires user assembly. Assembly time varies with skill level and selected options and accessories. We expect the average assembly to require 20-40 hours to complete depending on users skill. We recommend the use of a suitable hoist or multiple assemblers for ease of installation with the upper enclosure.

Can Apollo 4 be run on 120V power?

No. Due to the nature of the Apollo CNC Fiber Laser you will need 2 separate 220VAC circuits rated for 30A each.

Apollo will require a 220VAC, 60Hz Single Phase, 30A fused circuit. The Chiller will require a separate 220VAC, 60Hz Single Phase, 20A fused circuit.
