The Apollo CNC Fiber Laser is a precision CNC controlled sheet metal cutting device that utilizes a fiber laser to perform high speed accurate cutting with minimal post processing.
The Apollo CNC Fiber Laser uses our in-house engineered software, LaserControl.
LaserControl is brand consistent with our other software such as FireControl and CutControl ensuring familiarity for our users with this machine and our other products.
The Apollo CNC Fiber Laser can process a full 4’ x 8’ (48” x 96”) sheet with a total travel of 50” x 98” to maximize your processing capabilities. While the cutting capability of the machine is 48” wide, the gantry will clear a 60” sheet.
The Apollo CNC Fiber Laser comes with the laser source, a manual focus head (unless you have upgraded to the AutoFocus head), and a chiller. The unit also contains the hook-ups for O2 and N2 (or shop air) gas. We suggest you buy Connection Kit, which contains the N2 and O2 regulators, air lines, push-to-connect fittings, water lines, and more. The items included are as follows, if you wish to source your own components:
The customer will need to provide Oxygen and Nitrogen tanks for shielding gas, or shop air suitable for the pressure and flow requirements for cutting with a fiber laser.
The Apollo CNC Fiber Laser has both a lower and upper enclosure with door interconnect switches that prevent the laser from firing when the doors are open.
The laser head may be jogged and positioned with the doors off, but the doors must be installed before the laser system will fire.
While the enclosure provides enhanced safety over non-enclosed systems, we ALWAYS recommend that users wear proper laser-rated safety goggles. The enclosure is not optically sealed or FDA approved.
There are options for fume extraction, fume filtering, and camera monitoring while the laser is operational.

Accessories and options purchased at the same time as the base Apollo CNC Fiber Laser take advantage of free shipping. Additionally, freight cost is the same for the base machine and the optional accessories, so it is advantageous to include these items during your initial purchase.
Some accessories, such as the Laser Safety Glass Doors, have considerably higher shipping costs if purchased separately at a later date. We highly recommend that all customers consider purchasing their desired accessories with the machine to benefit from reduced shipping costs.
Apollo comes mostly assembled. The upper enclosure does require assembly. Assembly time varies with skill level and selected options and accessories. We expect the average assembly to require 1-2 hours to complete. We recommend the use of a suitable hoist or multiple assemblers for ease of installation with the upper enclosure.
We recommend getting familiar with your machine and its maintenance points to ensure the longevity of its operation. Once you have a good grasp on maintaining your machine, explore LaserControl and familiarize yourself with navigating the software and understanding cut parameters.
All machine components are offered as replaceable items for purchase if stock is available. Send us an email at support@langmuirsystems.com with your needs and we will prepare you an invoice.
No. Due to the nature of the Apollo CNC Fiber Laser you will need 2 separate 220VAC circuits rated for 25A each.
Apollo will require a 220VAC, 50/60Hz Single Phase, 20A fused circuit. The Chiller will require a separate 220VAC, 60Hz Single Phase, 18A fused circuit.
We are currently working on additional accessories and features to make the Apollo CNC Fiber Laser user friendly and an efficient tool to perform the tasks at hand. Check our website and social media posts for any upcoming accessories or features.
