Mid-Size 4x3 CNC Plasma Table for Fabrication Shops

Ready to bring CNC plasma cutting into your shop without overhauling it? The CrossFire PRO is a compact 4' x 3' CNC plasma table with a 48" x 33" cut area and a reinforced steel frame that fits where full-size tables can't. It plugs into a standard 120V outlet, ships UPS ground in three boxes, and pairs Autodesk Fusion 360 for design with FireControl for cutting, so you go from idea to finished part in one workflow. Sign makers, metal fabrication shops, and growing businesses use the CrossFire PRO to turn out brackets, signs, and custom parts on demand.

Which Plasma Cutter Should I Pair With the PRO?

The CrossFire PRO works with the Razorweld Razorcut 45 and the Hypertherm Powermax45 SYNC. Choose by the thickest steel you cut regularly.

Razorweld Razorcut 45

The budget choice. Cuts steel cleanly to 1/2" and plugs straight into the PRO. Needs 6.7 CFM at 75 psi.

Hypertherm Powermax45 SYNC

Cuts cleanly to 5/8" with single-cartridge consumables and a higher duty cycle. Needs only 4 scfm at 90 psi.

Compare plasma cutters →

Using Your Own Cutter?

It must be blowback-start, use a machine torch, and have a torch lead at least 16' long.

Need Thicker Cuts?

For 3/4" to 1" steel, the CrossFire PRO MAX works with larger cutters up to the Powermax85 SYNC.

See CrossFire PRO MAX →

What You Need to Run a CrossFire PRO

Plan your power, air, and computer before your PRO arrives.

Power

The PRO runs on one 120V, 20A outlet. Plan additional outlets for your air compressor and plasma cutter.

A Windows Laptop

The PRO connects to your Windows laptop by USB and runs FireControl, our free motion control software.

Compressed Air

Your compressor must keep up with your plasma cutter's rated air flow continuously. Add a filter or dryer to keep moisture and oil out of your consumables.

Full Sheets

The PRO is wide enough for 4'-wide sheets, so you can pass a full 4' x 8' sheet through it. Use adjustable-height stands to support the sheet.

Ventilation

The stainless water table keeps your material cool and holds down fumes, but plasma still makes smoke. Cut in a well-ventilated space.

Delivery

The PRO ships via UPS Ground in three boxes (about 130 lb, 60 lb, and 44 lb), with detailed assembly instructions.

CrossFire PRO CNC Plasma Table FAQ

How much does a 4x3 CNC plasma table cost?

The CrossFire PRO starts at $3,195 with FireControl software. Torch height control and a plasma cutter are optional add-ons, and you'll need your own Windows laptop and air compressor.

What is the cutting area of the CrossFire PRO?

The cutting envelope of the PRO is 48” (X) x 33” (Y) x 2.75" (Z) + 3” Manual Height Adjustment.

How thick can the CrossFire PRO cut?

The PRO's frame supports steel plate up to 1" thick, but cut thickness depends on your plasma cutter. With the cutters it supports, the Razorcut 45 cuts cleanly to 1/2" and the Powermax45 SYNC to 5/8". For thicker cuts, see the CrossFire PRO MAX.

Should I choose the PRO or the PRO MAX?

Choose the PRO if your parts fit in 48" x 33", you cut up to 5/8" steel, and you want the lowest price. Choose the CrossFire PRO MAX, starting at $3,395, for a 4' x 4' cutting area, a deeper water table, and cutters up to the Powermax85 SYNC for 1" steel.

Can I upgrade my CrossFire PRO to a PRO MAX later?

Yes. The $999 PRO MAX Upgrade Kit adds a deeper water table, 48" Y-axis tubes, and the drive components for the full 4' x 4' cutting area.

Is the machine expandable to 4’ x 8’?

No. The PRO can't be expanded to 4' x 8', but the $999 PRO MAX Upgrade Kit takes it to a true 4' x 4' cutting area. For full-sheet cutting, see the CrossFire XR.

Can I finance the purchase of the CrossFire PRO?

Yes. Choose the Affirm payment option during checkout to structure machine payments up to 36 months with competitive rates. Learn more about our financing options.

What are the electrical requirements?

The machine runs on a single 120V, 20A outlet. You will need additional 120V or 240V outlets for your air compressor and plasma cutter.

What is included?

The CrossFire PRO CNC plasma machine was designed to be a complete out-of-the-box solution for CNC plasma cutting. It includes everything that is needed to begin making parts with the exception of a computer, an air compressor, and a plasma cutter. Below is a snapshot of what is included with your basic machine purchase:

  • Complete three-axis CNC plasma cutting machine - just attach your plasma torch and start cutting.
  • Four NEMA 23 stepper motors and complete plug & play electronics motion control unit.
  • All electronics cables including 120V power cord, USB cable, Torch ON/OFF wiring, and THC pigtail cable.
  • Autodesk Fusion 360 CAD Design Software and CAM Toolpath Generation Software (Free to use for hobbyists and small startups).
  • FireControl Motion Control Software designed and developed by Langmuir Systems specifically for the PRO.
  • Unlimited access to Langmuir Systems FireShare.
  • Detailed Assembly Instructions and User Guide.
  • Access to lifetime customer support.
  • 12 Month Factory Warranty.
Can I fit full sheets of metal on my CrossFire PRO?

The CrossFire PRO is wide enough to support and cut a full 4’ width sheet. A full 4’ x 8’ sheet can be placed on the machine and passed through it for cutting. We recommend using adjustable-height stands to support a full sheet when passing through the machine.

What is Initial Height Sensing (IHS)? Does it cost extra?

IHS is the system that automatically senses the top surface of the material to ensure that the torch pierces at the perfect height for each cut. It works on wet, painted, or rusted surfaces. It's standard on every CrossFire PRO.

What is automatic Torch Height Control (THC)?

The automatic Torch Height Control unit is an electronic module that is wired to your plasma cutter and the PRO electronics enclosure for the purpose of maintaining the same torch-tip-to-material distance during cutting. This is required when cutting large sheets of material that may not be perfectly flat and also to account for material warpage during cutting.

Do I need to purchase the automatic Torch Height Control (THC) add-on?

If you plan to cut small and medium-sized parts 15” x 15” or less, then you may not need to purchase the THC module because the Initial Height Sense system will be sufficient for maintaining your torch-tip-to-material distance over a small area. If you plan to cut full sheets, or artwork and signage from thin-gauge material, we recommend adding the THC unit.

Can I add electronic accessories to this machine?

Yes, the front panel has an expansion port so that accessories such as limit switches and air scribers can be added by the owner. In the future, we plan to release add-on accessories to the machine that can be connected using this expansion port.

Can I use my CrossFire PRO as a wood router?

No. The floating head Z axis was specifically designed for plasma use only and is not compatible with a wood router.

Can I purchase add-on accessories at a later date?

Yes. Add-on accessories such as the laptop stand and THC can be purchased at a later date. Keep in mind that the price is discounted and the shipping is free when purchasing add-ons bundled together with the PRO.

What Plasma Cutters are compatible with the CrossFire PRO?

The CrossFire PRO works with the Razorweld Razorcut 45 and the Hypertherm Powermax45 SYNC. See our plasma cutter compatibility page for details. Cutters bought elsewhere must be blowback-start, use a machine torch, and have a torch lead at least 16' long. If your torch lead is shorter, ask your plasma cutter manufacturer about a longer lead. Note: Vipercut 30i machines come standard with a 13' torch lead and need a longer lead to work on the PRO.

How can I purchase replacement parts for this machine?

Langmuir Systems keeps an inventory of all replacement parts that go into a CrossFire PRO. Any necessary replacement parts will be shipped to you free of charge while your machine is still under factory warranty. After the warranty expires, simply email [email protected] for current pricing on replacement items.

How does the PRO ship?

The CrossFire PRO ships via UPS ground in three separate boxes weighing approximately 130 lb, 60 lb, and 44 lb.

What is the Warranty on the CrossFire PRO CNC Plasma Table?
