Summary
OK! After many attempts I finally got it. For ANY size pipe! You first get the circumference: 2πR=Circumference. That will be the overall length of the template. You divide the length by 4. That gives you the wave pattern. To find the peak to peak of the wave pattern you multiply the radius of the pipe by .707 and that will give you the peak to peak pattern for your pipe.
