Summary

Had a pin and bushings milled for this project that was the most expensive part at 400$. steel used for thumb was 1/2 in. razor weld cut it no problem, though there was about a 1/16 in deflection in the cut really maxed machine out. yes it looks like it is sticking out a lot but it is not retracted all the way as the lines were not hooked up when I took this picture.

An additional note, the mounts for cylinder are double so 1" and then a few spacers cut from 14g.

hey, thinking of using your design for my backhoe, what is the length dimension? I need 36" from bucket pin to bucket teeth. Thanks.

Shouldnt you be able to see the dimensions when you open files? I cut a few out of 16g first to make sure it fit before i cut the 1/2in also
