Langmuir Gantry Riser Tools

Summary

These Plates are 1" taller to raise the gantry on the Crossfire for doing notching or cutting on 2" square tubing. Cut 4 of these plates out of 3/16" plate. I take a drill bit to straighten up the holes once cut. 5/16" on the 2 small holes and 3/8" on the larger holes.

I was just looking at mine the other day and wanting to pass the material under the gantry as we were laying out then cutting the dash for a CJ7. But there was no room and I couldn't see any reason to not raise them a little so I could. Thanks for making these.

this worked exactly as i had hoped for. very very simple and seems to provide all sorts of new clearance to bring material under the y axis

Is this the highest the gantry can be moved up and have the crossfire still operate?
