RAM 2500 IMPROVED FRONT LOWER SHOCK BRACKET Automotive
Had a front lower shock bracket on my friends 2022 Ram 2500 break (See pics). From the factory the tab is only welded to one side of the mount to the axle. We decided to make a bracket that could be welded on both sides to beef it up. Part drawing is included with the bend lines represented. Between the legs should be no less than 2 1/4". Getting a weld on the backside of the bracket is a bit of a pain but not impossible. We cut this out of 10 gauge steel sheet (.140") and it is plenty strong. The shock mountings should be the same from 2019 up to 2025.
