Wood and Metal Swinging Bench Outdoor

Summary

I needed something to easily build some singing benches as I have a lot I need to make. Whipped this up. Cut out of 1/8" steel for best results. All bends have reliefs so they can be bent by hand then welded. The two attachments are for a rope to be pulled through. Pull the rope through and tie a big thick not and it'll stay in. For less than $100 you can have a bench that will last a lifetime. Easiest and most affordable to make 2 benches at once. Buy 9 10' 2x4s and cut each in half. Secure the boards w/ 1.25" wood screws and call it a day.
