The Langmuir Systems Interactive Shop Planner is a helpful digital tool designed to help fabricators, hobbyists, and shop owners layout their ideal workspace.

You can digitally map out your garage or shop floor plan while testing the spatial footprints of various Langmuir Systems equipment, like CNC plasma tables, gantry mills, press brakes, and welding and fixture tables.

It takes the guesswork out of layout design by letting you visualize spacing, clearances, and workflow before moving any heavy machinery. Whether you are setting up a brand-new shop or reorganizing an existing one, this tool ensures your equipment fits comfortably and safely in your available space.

Using the Shop & Workflow Planner

Here are step-by-step instructions to easily navigate and use the Langmuir Systems Interactive Shop Planner:

  1. Set Up Your Room Dimensions: Begin by entering the exact length and width of your garage or shop floor into the tool to create a to-scale virtual room boundary.
  2. Add Architectural Elements: Add structural features like doors and windows into your layout so you can account for clearance, swing paths, and natural light.
  3. Select Your Equipment: Browse the catalog of Langmuir Systems products including CNC plasma tables, gantry mills, press brakes, and welding and fixture tables, and add these to your shop.
  4. Add Other Shop Equipment: Add workbenches, shelving, dust collectors, air compressors, chillers, and other shop essentials into your layout.
  5. Arrange Your Layout: Click and drag your selected equipment around the virtual floor plan to experiment with different configurations and workflow arrangements.
  6. Check Clearances: Ensure you leave adequate walking space around your machinery, as well as enough room for loading material, operating control panels, gas tanks, and accessing maintenance areas.
  7.  Download and Share Your Plan: Once you are satisfied with your setup, save your digital layout to reference later when you start physically arranging your shop.
