A CNC plasma table moves a plasma torch over a sheet of metal on a computer-controlled gantry. You draw a part in CAD software, and the table follows that path while the plasma cutter's arc melts through the metal, cutting the same part accurately every time.
A CNC plasma table, a compatible plasma cutter, compressed air, and a computer to run the control software. Every CrossFire runs FireControl, and our Razorweld and Hypertherm plasma cutters plug straight in.

A CNC plasma table cuts any electrically conductive metal, including mild steel, stainless steel, and aluminum. How thick it cuts depends on your plasma cutter and table: the Razorcut 45 cuts cleanly to 1/2", and the Hypertherm Powermax85 SYNC on a CrossFire PRO MAX or CrossFire XR cuts cleanly to 1".

Recommended is a clean, production-quality cut at a good speed. Severance is the most the machine can part, slowly and with rough edges. Pierce is the thickest plate it can start a hole in.
Duty cycle is how much of a 10-minute period the machine can cut at that amperage before it needs to cool. Hypertherm figures are at 104°F on 200–240 V single phase (the 65 and 85 list the same ratings on higher voltages; the 85 drops to 40% @ 85 A on 200–208 V).
Air is the recommended flow while cutting; Hypertherm's 65 and 85 want at least 75 psi, and some listings give 6.7 scfm for the 65.
A CNC plasma table is a computer-controlled machine that moves a plasma torch over sheet metal to cut parts from a digital design. It pairs with a plasma cutter, compressed air, and control software like FireControl.
CrossFire CNC plasma tables range from $1,995 for the 2' x 2' CrossFire to $6,995 for the full-sheet 4' x 8' CrossFire XR. The plasma cutter is sold separately or as a package.

The CrossFire XR. Its 48" × 96" cutting area fits a full 4' × 8' sheet, and it comes with automatic torch height control, ball-screw drives, limit switches, a dual drag chain, and a 400 IPM maximum cut speed as standard.
That depends on the plasma cutter you pair with the table. With a Razorcut 45, plan on clean cuts up to 1/2" and piercing up to 3/8". A Hypertherm Powermax85 SYNC cuts cleanly up to 1" and can sever up to 1-1/2". The table's weight capacity matters too: the CrossFire and XL hold up to 1/2" plate, and the CrossFire PRO, PRO MAX, and XR hold up to 1" plate.
The CrossFire, CrossFire XL, and CrossFire PRO pair with the Razorweld Razorcut 45 or Hypertherm Powermax45 SYNC. The CrossFire PRO MAX and CrossFire XR work with every cutter up to the Powermax85 SYNC. For thicker plate or long production runs, choose a cutter with a higher duty cycle. Yes, that's where many CrossFire owners start. The CrossFire weighs 130 lb and needs a 44.2" × 42.5" footprint; the CrossFire XL is the same weight with a 44.2" × 52.5" footprint. Both ship by ground. Your plasma cutter will also need compressed air: check the "Air needed" column in the plasma cutter table.

Yes. The CrossFire and CrossFire XL can add a powered Z-axis, the LS-THC automatic torch height control, and a limit switch kit. The CrossFire PRO and CrossFire PRO MAX can add the LS-THC and limit switches. Every model uses the same software, so your workflow stays the same as you upgrade.
