The LS-CT-2404 1/4" 4-Flute Square End Mill is designed for precision CNC milling of mild steel, alloy steel and cast iron. Featuring a heat-resistant AlTiN coating and a four-flute cutting geometry, this end mill provides strength, tool life, and a smooth finish in ferrous metals.
The four-flute design gives a strong core and a smooth finish in steel while leaving room to clear chips at typical CNC feed rates. Its AlTiN (aluminum titanium nitride) coating holds up to the heat of cutting ferrous metals, protecting the cutting edge and extending tool life in steel and cast iron.
With a 1/4" cutting diameter, 5/8" length of cut, and 2-1/2" overall length, this versatile end mill is ideal for precision profiling, slotting, pocketing, and general steel milling.
