The LS-CT-1302 1/8" 3-Flute Square End Mill is designed for precision CNC milling of aluminum and other non-ferrous materials. Featuring a slick DLC coating and a three-flute cutting geometry, this end mill provides a balance of efficient material removal, chip evacuation, and surface finish quality.
The three-flute design offers additional cutting edges compared to traditional two-flute end mills while maintaining space for chip evacuation during aluminum machining. Its DLC (diamond-like carbon) coating gives the flutes a hard, slick surface that resists built-up edge, so aluminum chips release cleanly and the tool lasts longer than an uncoated end mill.
With a 1/8" cutting diameter, 1/2" length of cut, and 1-1/2" overall length, this compact end mill is ideal for precision profiling, slotting, pocketing, and general aluminum milling.
