The LS-CT-2606 3/8" 6-Flute Finishing End Mill is designed for precision CNC milling of steel, stainless steel and hard alloys. Featuring a heat-resistant AlTiN coating and a six-flute, equal-index geometry, this end mill provides a fine surface finish at higher feed rates.
The six-flute, equal-index design puts more cutting edges in contact with the part, giving a fine surface finish at higher feed rates on finishing passes. Its AlTiN (aluminum titanium nitride) coating holds up to the heat of cutting ferrous metals, protecting the cutting edge and extending tool life in steel, stainless steel and hard alloys.
With a 3/8" cutting diameter, 1" length of cut, and 2-1/2" overall length, this mid-size end mill is ideal for finishing passes on walls and floors, profiling, and light-to-medium cuts with a fine surface finish.
