The LS-CT-2706 3/8" 7-Flute Finishing End Mill is designed for precision CNC milling of stainless steel, titanium, high-temperature alloys and hardened steel. Featuring a heat-resistant AlTiN coating and a seven-flute, variable-index geometry, this end mill provides chatter-free finishing in tough materials.
The seven-flute, variable-index design spaces the flutes unevenly to break up the harmonics that cause chatter, so it holds a clean finish in stainless steel, titanium and hardened steel. Its AlTiN (aluminum titanium nitride) coating holds up to the heat of cutting ferrous metals, protecting the cutting edge and extending tool life in steel, stainless steel and hard alloys.
With a 3/8" cutting diameter, 1" length of cut, and 2-1/2" overall length, this mid-size end mill is ideal for finishing passes on walls and floors, profiling, and light-to-medium cuts with a fine surface finish.
